This client  is a classic example of the adage “being in the right place at the right time." Finding themselves in a unique situation due to the pandemic, they wanted to leverage quality content to launch content marketing and reach a global audience. They required content for every stage of the marketing funnel at scale.

What we did

Enter Upword Media Services. It was an inspiring opportunity for us to work side by side with a SaaS company that was accelerating at break-neck speed and preparing to raise funds as it saw phenomenal growth in its user base. The fast-evolving platform valued high-quality content for boosting its marketing efforts. 

We dove right in from their launch time and over the duration of two years, provided the client with the following types of well-researched, quality pieces of content-

How we did it

  • Based on their target audience, search intent, keywords, market trends, and competitor research, we shared topic ideas to choose from at the beginning of every month
  • Created a template for each content type- Articles contained title variations, SEO excerpt/ meta description, tweetable quotes, internal and external linking, headline analyzer checks, Hemingway readability checks, Grammarly, and plagiarism checks
  • Participated in interviews with event organizers for case studies
  • Created questionnaires to record responses for case studies
  • Created a template for case studies to showcase the journey from solutions to challenges
  • Incorporated relevant keywords while maintaining readability
  • Included well-researched FAQs, chapters, and table of content in long-form articles to ensure search visibility  
  • Scheduled a fixed number of SEO-optimized submissions per week and maintained a detailed content calendar to record submissions 
  • Created a detailed video script for the use case video, right from the storyboarding to comprehensive sequencing, scripting, and mapping of visuals to content.

The above details helped create a repeatable and scalable process that allowed for a high volume delivery while ensuring quality and timely deliveries.
